PLAN ON HOUSING CHOICES WHEN STUDYING ABROAD

Finding accommodation in the period of study is what you need to plan early on, even before departing. With international students, a suitable planning is not easy, especially for those who have not experienced. Most first-year students are selected on the dormitory to make friends easily and more convenient procedures. Here are a few alternatives for you to chose housing, including:

Living in dormitory with meals

Most universities have a separate dormitory areas, allows providing accommodation for students in the country as well as internationally. Usually selected freshman dorm area with catering to not have to worry about cooking. Often you will be eating at least this evening, while some campuses to include breakfast. In the bedroom, there are some popular utilities such as toiletries, shower, use some common items such as cooking and watching TV. Standard of each dormitory of course also depends according to the university as well as the option fee.

Living in dormitory without meals

Besides dormitory areas with food services and also serves  accommodation, another form when living dormitory is that you will have to cook your meals. Students choosing this type will share the house with other friends (about 4 to 5 persons) and  use in conjunction with a number of common areas such as bathrooms, kitchen and living room. The area of apartments and rooms in the course depends on the room rate and the area you will live. If you do not want to share with strangers sharing should seek independent rental apartments to avoid having to live "close contact", but this of course also means that you have to pay higher fees.

Rent a private apartment

In fact, the number of students granted a room on campus greatly restricted for some reason the school is not enough room for everyone. Only first-year students are given priority in the new dorm because of the number of rooms in the dormitory are limited. This is why many students decided to rent out separately. Most landlords require one month deposit and you are repaid only after the contract has ended (and ensure their apartment was not damaged anything). In addition, you should also have permitted by a guardian to rent apartment abroad. So, in case you want to rent outside, please contact office of the university for advice on tenancy agreement and get the necessary guidance.

 Living in homestay

If you do not want to live with other students, you can choose to live with local families, also called Homestay. This option is often less expensive than renting a private home and also gives you the opportunity to develop their language skills.  Living in Homestay, you can communicate with their family members and you will become  an official member of their family, such as: you will be eating breakfast with their families, participate in the daily activities of their families, even the holidays. This gives students huge advantages: You will develop the language quickly and better understand their culture. We think that living in homestay will bring you the most interesting experiences!

Living in the school's housing office

At the University, there is office specialized in housing for international students. This office is usually responsible for ensuring their students have a safe shelter. This is where you can find out information about local accommodation. In case of trouble with the landlord on paper, you can also look here for help.
