Why do we have that assessment? First, let’s have a basic understanding of New Zealand’s educational system

The New Zealand education is divided into the following levels:

Students take one more year to earn a bachelor's degree of honor. New Zealand universities offer pre-university programs that help international students prepare for college, usually for one year. Courses include English language arts, maths, and other supplementary subjects.

The academic year lasts from late February to December, with holidays between two semesters. Some schools operate under the semester system with two admissions per year (February and July).

Upon successful completion of the Bachelor program, students can continue their studies at Masters level for one to two years.

  • Academies of Technology and Polytechnics

New Zealand has 22 institutes of technology and polytechnics. Courses are usually based on career and skills programs, from certificate level to university and graduate level.
